Yes, the shelter is great news, we're very relieved that we finally have a dedicated sheltered accomodation.
In answer to Andrew's question - tha cab controls are the same handles and levers as in Blue Square units. The main differences are not obvios to the observer or even the driver: the lack of through air pipe in White Circle and some different wiring through the jumper cables. It's theoretically possible to work the two types together with special jumpers.

The shelter is great news -all that hard work was not in vain!
Look forward to travelling on the famous DMU at the SRPS 50th

Hello. I am interested to know how/if the cab controls for "White Circle" differ from standard "Blue Square" - and if there are any cab views available anywhere?
Liked the picture of SC51043 @ sC59404 beside 65243 Maude - all looking good.
Sorry I cannot help with the "work" week - (I would probably do more damage than good!!)
It is great that all the hard work by the DMU Volunteers is recognised and the end result will be enjoyed by many for years and years to come. Thanks.
Thanks for the comments, gentlemen. It's nice that people appreciate the DMU.
Bob - yes if you have some DMU pattern material spare we'd be interested to hear from you. If we don't have a use for it ourselves we can pass it on to another group.

Just to say "Well done" to all in the DMU - The famous SC59404 is looking especially fab..and is, by far, the most interesting and nicest of the diesel units in Bo'ness Railway.
Many, many hours and months of hard (and often tedious) work must have been put in by the volunteers - and the end result is "just grand"!.
On my tour of the diesel depot (with a very cheery chap) and some other eager diesel enthusiasts, I saw several sad looking wee trains....aye, work on the SC59404 may now be complete.. but I bet it will not be long before the DEMU boys begin to rescue these other lost train souls ...........
Thanks, and "Well done"" again.
